 Family Involvement Plan: Planning Worksheet

As you work with families to plan your engagement activities for next year, you can use this worksheet to help develop your Family Involvement Plan (FIP). In the fall, you can transfer this plan to the online School Improvement Planning (SIP) Portal (http://www.insights.mpls.k12.mn.us/public/SIP) to generate a formatted PDF of your FIP, which must be posted on your school’s website and shared with families.

This event should be held early in the school year.

This goal is also fulfilled by posting a family-friendly version of your School Improvement Plan (SIP) on your website, and sending home notification to families if your school has been

designated for support and improvement by the state

Site Council meetings provide an opportunity to discuss the revisions or additions to the student-parent-teacher compact.
