ACCESS for ELL Testing
We will administer the ACCESS for ELL March 9 & 10, 2017.
Anishinabe Academy will be administering the Reading, Math and Science MCA tests between April 10th and May 12th, 2017 as follows:
Reading Grades 6,7 & 8, April 10-14
Reading Grades 3, 4 & 5, April 13-19
Math Grades 6, 7 & 8, April 24 & 25
Math Grades 3, 4 & 5, April 26-May 2
Science Grade 8, May 8-9
Science Grade 5, May 8-10
The MCAs are state standardized tests that measure a student's proficiency on grade-level state standards. Students in grades 3-8, and 10th and 11th grade will take tests in the areas of reading (grades 3-8, grade 10), mathematics (grades 3-8, grade 11), and science (grades 5, 8, and upon completion of high school biology).
Cell Phone Policy for MCA Testing
Students may NOT use cell phones or any electronic devices at any time during testing; including during breaks. Possession of any such device during testing is a security violation. The consequence of a violation of test security may include the invalidation of test scores.
Cell phones should be turned off and safely secured with an adult or locked in a locker.

The after school program is about to begin. Check with your child's teacher for information. Students who are enrolled stay after school and receive bus transportation home after Beacons. Beacon centers transform schools into active youth centers afterschool and in the summer, providing free high quality youth development opportunities to the students of Sullivan and Anishinabe schools.
