Hello!

My name is Mrs. Blegen and I teach High Five at Anishinabe Academy. We have a traditional pre-kindergarten in the morning and a Dakota Language immersion Program in the afternoon.  There are twenty students and we have two Language  speakers in the classroom.

Parents are always welcome to visit our classroom.We start our day in the lunchroom to eat breakfast and are back in our classroom to start a busy day filled with theme based activities. We have large group instruction, small group instruction, active learning time, and many opportunities to learn in different learning styles.
