I look forward to working with the middle school students, parents, and families this year.  As this is my third year teaching at Anishinabe Academy, I have come to know many of the students and families at our school.  In these meetings I have learned a lot from both the students and families.  One thing that I have learned from our families and students is that communication and trust is the cornerstone for our continued good relationships.  I want all of our families to know that I will work hard to keep the lines of communication open between us, that all are welcome into our classroom, and that each and every child will be honored as the truly unique, special person that they are.  I will earn your trust and your child's trust by being fair, prepared, and committed to the students education.  We will learn a lot this year but we will move fast so attendance is important, the student's as well as my own.  I look forward to the start of our new journey together.  minawaanigozin gikinoo'amaagoziyan!
